Un Sherlock Holmes que, además, tiene la voz del mismísimo Basil Rathbone; y un villano, Ratigan, que cuenta con la voz original del mismísimo Vincent Price. Sin duda alguna, una de las adaptaciones más bonitas del personaje realizada por la mismísma compañía Disney y precursora de una nueva época dorada en la animación de la compañía.</p>

La primera de ella, gracias a <a href="https://deoldify.ai/" target="_blank">Deoldify</a> (para darle color) y a Wondershare Filmora para retocarlo un poco. Aquí puedes ver el resultado. Recuerda que también le hemos creado subtítulos en español que son opcionales (hay que activarlos en Youtube).</p>

Y es que <a href="https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0733070/" target="_blank">Sam Robinson</a> interpreta a un detective llamado Knick Garter que usa lupa, fuma en pipa y viste igual que Sherlock Holmes con su gorra de doble visera, etc... Junto a él, su equivalente a Watson estuvo interpretado por <a href="https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0851374" target="_blank">Rudolph Tatun</a> en un personaje llamado Reuma Tismo (sí, como parece). El villano, Baron Jazz, procede de un país africano llamado Perrito Caliente (sí, también es como parece). Sin embargo, la publicación en prensa del caso y de la petición de ayuda al propio Sherlock hace que este se entere y se dirija a la mansión a ver lo que pasa. Muy parecido a cosas similares que años después veríamos en las películas de James Bond.</li><li>Sherlock también se anticipa décadas a Clint Eastwood y Sergio Leone cortando una mecha de una bomba disparando contra esta</li><li>Watson sale, pero muy poco</li><li>Desde el principio te muestran ya que Stapleton es malo y que es el heredero alternativo, Roger de Baskerville</li><li>La servidumbre y campesinos de Baskerville Hall no sólo no parecen británicos, sino que visten claramente trajes típicos alemanes de la época</li></ul></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Hay que decir que la película no se quedó ahí, sino que fue el comienzo de toda una saga (o de dos). Ese mismo año se estrenó "La Casa Solitaria", segunda parte de la película con el mismo equipo, hasta el punto de que en Estados Unidos se estrenaron juntas como una única película. En ambas vuelve a tener a Alwin Neuss y Friedrich Kühne como Holmes y Stapleton. Ese mismo año, los otros supuestos propietarios realizan su propia tercera entrega titulada 'El Castillo Oscuro'. Willy Zein, el de la tercera parte alternativa, es el director de estas dos entregas y Sherlock Holmes cambia y pasa a estar interpretado por Erich Kaiser-Titz. Y, no contento con eso, cuando entabla amistad con un nuevo amigo, el amigo lo llama Holmes y él llama al amigo Watson. Y, más aún, poco después conocen a otra niña con la que también comparten investigación y ambos deciden llamarla Ica (Irene) Adler. <div style="text-align: justify;">Como decimos, el niño Holmes es casi una réplica infantil de nuestro admirado personaje. Sin embargo, no se puede decir lo mismo de Watson. El Watson de esta película es un niño con los pelos desaliñados que sufre acoso escolar y que no para tocarse los pelos de la cabeza cada vez que se pone nervioso. Eso sí, no para de tomar notas en cada momento de la investigación. Holmes va a pasarlas en una localidad donde ha habido un montón de casos de desapariciones de niños. Sin embargo, todos los niños han vuelto a reaparecer a los dos días aunque, eso sí, totalmente apáticos. Según dicen, la policía no está muy preocupada porque todos van reapareciendo pero, viendo la manera en que se presentan, la verdad es que resulta un argumento un poco ridículo. Sin embargo, el problema de la película es que, poco a poco, va dejando de ser un caso convencional para ir convirtiéndose en un asunto sobrenatural con una resolución casi más simbólica y metafórica que incluso sobrenatural.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div>

Y, además, podríamos decir que se trata del primer 'blockbuster' de Sherlock Holmes en el cine. Con <a href="https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000229/" target="_blank">Steven Spielberg</a> como productor ejecutivo y dirigida por <a href="https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001469/" target="_blank">Barry Levinson</a>, <a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090357/" target="_blank">"El Secreto de la Pirámide"</a> (o "El Joven Sherlock Holmes" en el título original) nos presenta cómo podría haber sido un hipotético encuentro entre Holmes y Watson durante su adolescencia.
